While Garrett returned to his university in Los Angeles, Melissa, Nancy, and I returned to Disneyland Park where we met up with our friends California Melissa and Richie. It goes without saying that the five of us had the best day, however, in a wild twist of life, it was more crowded on this Monday than it was two days prior on a Saturday! Not just a little more crowded either, but a LOT! I haven’t been to Disney when it was this crowded in ages! This is not by any means a complaint, but it was most definitely a surprise! I had originally anticipated this to be our least busiest day, but WHOA was I wrong!
So, I have what is really quite a wonderful and unbelievable story for you all…!
When we were in line for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction, I was hit with a case of the Thunder Shits! Like, we were literally about to each get assigned our roles (pilot/gunner/engineer) and all of a sudden BOOM! Lightning struck and I was about three minutes from pooping my pants! I walked up to the two cast members who were assigning everyone their roles and told them it was an emergency that I get out of line and get to the closest restroom. The younger guy told me to follow some such corridor to the exit sign and blah, blah, blah, but the older gentleman shot the young guy a severe look and then looked back at me and said, “follow me.”
This blessed being led me straight to the cast members restroom that was most definitely behind the scenes! We went down a couple of corridors and into an open atrium where there were two restrooms and I took the one on the right. I wanted so badly to take photos in there even though it looked like any other single user restroom I’ve ever been in, but knowing that the older gentleman was waiting outside for me to finish, I refrained from ever using my phone. He was such a saint! I genuinely don’t think I would’ve made it to the EITHER of the two Batuu restrooms from where we were and if you noticed above I WAS WEARING WHITE SHORTS! I most definitely would’ve turned my backside brown! Thank the Lord for this kind-hearted man who saved me from my shit! God Bless him! I wish I would’ve got his name, but I wasn’t thinking correctly in the moment, so that was a missed opportunity, but I could live a hundred more years and never, ever forget him.
Well, as always, THANK YOU so very much for viewing! I appreciate you greatly! Please feel free to leave a comment below as I LOVE reading and responding to them! I’ll be back very soon with a review and synopsis from our New Kids on the Block, En Vogue, Salt & Pepa, & Rick Astley concert! It was quite a show and one post you won’t want to miss, so until then, I wish you all, all the best!
You’re something else Ben! You’re like SpongeBob who’s always splitting his pants; except you’re always shi!@ing your pants… 👖 💩
Thank you for the laughs!
You’re right! I really am! Thankfully that kindhearted gentleman saved me from myself! I would’ve been a bit embarrassed if I pooped myself in Disney!!!
LOVE IT! The two Melissas and two Stormtroopers picture is beyond adorable and I absolutely love that carousel shot too! As always, amazing photos!
Thank you so much! We had the best time taking them, so I love sharing the lot with everyone!
