My near and dear friend, Brewer, who happens to be an award winning photographer, accompanied me on a lil’ day trip to the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, Missouri where we had THE BEST time exploring the trails of this environmental oasis. This was both of our first times experiencing this outstanding place, but most certainly won’t be either of our last. So take a look at all these photos we captured of this natural wonderland and then make plans to see it all for yourself…!
The Shaw Nature Reserve is located at 307 Pinetum Loop Road, Gray Summit, Missouri. It sits off I-44 about ten minutes further west than Six Flags St. Louis and took us less than a hour to get there from Cutesville. The Shaw Nature Reserve offers 17 miles of hiking and is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until September when it begins closing at 7:00 p.m.. The final entry into the reserve is always thirty minutes prior to closing and general admission is $5 per person or free for members of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Please note that there are NO pets allowed!
As always, THANK YOU so much for viewing! I appreciate your support greatly! Please feel free to leave me a message below as I love reading and responding to them! I’ll return next week with another all-new post, so until then, I wish you all, all the best in your weekly endeavors!

Thank you & yes! It really is! I can’t wait to go back in the fall when the leaves are peak pretty!
You’re the first person I know whose gone there & I’m so happy you’ve shared these gorgeous photos! It’s been on our list for a while! Sucks we can’t take the doggo’s, but I guess it makes sense being a nature reserve & all! 🤣
Too much wildlife for dogs I feel, but definitely go yourself with your loved ones, you’ll love it!
