Spotlight St. Louis: The Neon Museum Of Saint Louis

Just outside the entrance on Chouteau.
This place held a smattering of eclectic and electric offerings. Truly there was something special to see everywhere you looked!
There were several people sitting at the bar on stools, but we honestly just brushed past this part, so we were unclear if they truly offered any food or beverage options past the bottled water we saw in the cooler pictured above. I’m sure this area comes in handy though when the space is rented out for a wedding or some such event.
The case shown in the bottom left hand corner was quite informative about what neon is and how its produced.
The upper level was not open to the public on the night of our visit. I hope they acquire enough new neon to fill that space up as well in the future.
You know I love these kaleidoscope tunnels!
Taken in something else I love, a mirror!
In our guided tour we learned that neons would vary some depending on the region because of the local neon builder and distributors. I just found that to be interesting because I automatically assumed they’d be essentially the same anywhere you went.
They do have a restroom and it was super clean and tidy.
I loved so much how the glass reflected the neon lights back. It truly amplified the neon glow from every which angle.
Seeing the Schnucks sign made us all smile. Loved seeing that hometown ensignia.
We can make any opportunity a photographic one.
Just like Bruce Springsteen.
I love rhinoceros, so although I don’t know what the Raging Rhino is, I thought this neon was super cute.
I keep saying there was something special to see everywhere you look and I absolutely mean it. You never knew what your eyes were going to come across!
