Walt Disney World: Our Sixth Anniversary Trip: Hollywood Studios

This day was spectacularly special because my good friend, Lauren, who I worked with at Macy’s St. Clair Square nearly a decade ago and now lives in Orlando came and joined us for all the fun! I love continuing to make new memories with old friends nearly anywhere I go, so needless to say, this day was just simply the best!

We lost Kamber at the park entrance, so we decided to just take the picture without her.
Looks like I’m wearing a damn Yamaka, but no, I’m not, it’s just my bald spot. Lord, let’s hope this new HIMS shit I got starts working post haste!
It was a real thrill meeting Ariel from the live-action rendition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, which if you haven’t seen, you’re super missing out. I thought it was one of the best remakes they’ve done to date! Loved every single second of it!
This is where we ate lunch. It was cute and delicious and oddly placed off the main pathway. I was told this area of the park used to be more prominent, but with Galaxy’s Edge coming in and such it has become slightly forgotten. Can’t wait for the revamp!
The First Order ain’t ready for us.
No matter how many times I see the Millennium Falcon, I always get this rush of pure joy and excitement. I’ve loved Star Wars my entire life, so seeing this life-size creation of the fastest ship in the galaxy just gives me thrills unlike few other things can.
We were shocked to see a Porg in Batuu!
Kamber, Nancy, and I rode this without the other two and tried to blow a kiss at the camera, you can see how well it worked. This ride is the best, no matter how much Melissa and Lauren say otherwise.

We waited in line for nearly an hour to ride Slinky Dog Dash, but never got the chance to get on because our table became ready at the Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
The park closed at 9:00, which is pretty much the exact time our dinner reservations were, so when we were done eating about 10:30, the park was EMPTY! It was wild, but obviously wildly awesome!
This park is super cute at night I feel. It was a real joy getting to walk these streets without a crowd.
Melissa nearly died that evening. After three rigorous days at the parks, her feet were about to expand and explode.

Well, there you have it, our fun-filled day of friendship and fantasy in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park! One aspect of this day that I especially enjoyed was all the shopping we did! Melissa and I were searching high and low for an awesome Star Wars shirt for our young neighbor and we scoured all the stores in this park quite thoroughly, but came up empty handed. Nonetheless, it was fun to actually shop, something I surprisingly never do at Disney. Don’t worry though, while we didn’t find anything here in Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom came through for us the next day!

As always, THANK YOU so much for viewing! I appreciate you greatly! Feel free to leave me a comment below as I LOVE reading and responding to them! I’ll return soon with our day at Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom, so until then, I wish you all, all the best!
