Walt Disney World Day Six: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Okay, WOW! Hollywood Studios has experienced a true evolution since I was last there in August of 2017! With the addition of the picturesque Toy Story Land, which is modeled to look like Andy’s backyard, and the Galaxy’s Edge (Star Wars Land) addition, this park has become quite phenomenal! I always loved it before, but now I truly LOVE it!

Woody has always been my favorite Toy Story character.
The queue for the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster was absolutely adorable, which was par for the course for Disney.
This coaster wasn’t ‘ruff’ at all, it was smooth & spectacular!
“To Infinity & Beyond!”
This ride made me full of laughs! Loved it!
My brother & I used to love playing with those lil’ green army men back in the day.
Again, the lines are just beautiful. This one was for Toy Story Mania, one of my favorite rides EVER!
I could literally sit there and ride this all day. I didn’t score over 200k this time, but that’s okay, I got just over 190k!
The Blackspire Outpost on the planet of Batuu! LOVE me some Star Wars!
The First Order better watch out for this band of Resistance fighters!
This immersive AF marketplace literally makes one feel like they’ve entered a galaxy far, far away…!
Move over Mando, we’ll watch lil’ Grogu from here on out!
Here to infiltrate the First Order.
What a treat it was spotting Salacious B. Crumb in Batuu!
Rise of the Resistance ride vehicle sitting idle inside the First Order Star Destroyer hangar.
First Order Stormtroopers.
We’ve become prisoners of the First Order.
Sith versus Jedi
The Force is strong in me.
An ATAT walker greets us as we enter Star Tours: The Adventure Continues. Melissa thinks these war machines are just adorable.
…of course I think she’s much more adorable!
Echo Lake & Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction
Bo Peep & Woody (Toy Story)
Joe Gardner (Soul)
The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror
Workers Shortage Cinderella & Workers Shortage Fairy Godmother
We had dinner at the fanciful Brown Derby where I treated myself to more seafood. This time around I got the Ora King Salmon with Grilled Local Corn, Fresno Peppers, & Sweet Corn Velouté. I also enhanced my meal by adding some Deviled Crab & Orzo Gratin. Needless to say, this was all THE BEST!
The Brown Derby is world famous for their Grapefruit Cake, which is obviously what I got for dessert. The first bite was kinda like WHOA! …but after that I was lovin’ it!
Flounder & Sebastian (The Little Mermaid)
Hollywood Studios own Chinese Theater!
Suffice it to say, we rode Toy Story Mania a second time. I didn’t score as well as I did in the first, but nonetheless, that ride is THE BEST!
The Pixar Ball
Back to Batuu with this nighttime shot of Kylo Ren’s shuttle.
Melissa & I aboard the Millennium Falcon!
Lion Pose in front of the Millennium Falcon!

Well, there you have it, our day in a galaxy far, far away… as well as a taste of Hollywood in Florida and some backyard fun at Andy’s. Hollywood Studios really has something for everyone and is a NOT to be missed experience! PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment below as I love reading and responding to them! There’s one more day to come in my Walt Disney World series, so be on the lookout for that soon, but until then, I wish you all, all THE BEST!

    1. I’ve always loved it since I was a kid & will love it forever! You’re right, the saga has only got better with age!

  3. I just loved seeing all these pictures! The scenery is wonderful but I really enjoyed seeing all your pictures you took with Melissa, Nancy, Kamber, and Charles. Such wonderful memories you will have forever. Although, I pretty sure that look on Kamber’s face is saying “My child broke his glass” while I’m here trying to enjoy Disney World!”🤣

    1. Yes, that look of “fear” on her face definitely said just that! I didn’t elaborate as I should have, but we tried to emulate all the emotions as we were. You’re right though, so many amazing memories were made! It really was simply the best!
