Let me tell you what, I love coffee. In fact, I begin everyday with a cup of it. Now I do very much enjoy both hot and iced, but each has its place depending on the time of the day for me.
I love my iced coffee in the morning and all throughout the daylight hours in various varieties of seasonal flavors. When that sun sets though and dinner has concluded, it’s time for a hot mug with nothing but cream and sugar. And if I’m having dessert, you best bet I’m enjoying it with a nice hot mug of coffee. It’s not entirely uncommon for me to have coffee two or three times a day. Yes, it’s safe to say I’m addicted to coffee and by default, caffeine.
So, when Meme’s Coffee Shop invited me to showcase them in one of my Cutesville Connections posts, I leapt at the opportunity to do so! It’s my favorite coffee spot in town and I’m already a regular as I go about once a week! I’d honestly been wanting to spotlight them for a while now, it’s just I’m not always in blog mode. If I don’t enter a place with the intent to blog, then it isn’t at the forefront of my mind, which is why there’s so many deserving places in our amazing city that I have yet to showcase.
Meme’s Coffee Shop, which I just learned I’d been pronouncing wrong this entire time, so let me include this in the event I’m not the only one. Meme’s is not *meems* as in the typically humorous images we see all over social media, but rather *me-me’s,* named after the owner’s grandmother. I’ll readily admit, I’d been butchering that pronunciation since the day they opened. So while I may not always be thinking about my blog, I’m clearly thinking about social media often enough that it influences the way I read.
Anyway, enough about me, let’s get into Meme’s shall we?

Really and truly, I love Meme’s Coffee Shop! I went three times over the past two weeks, so I could order enough different items that I was able to give a strong showcase of their breakfast offerings. I have yet to go for lunch, but you can bet it’s on my to do list!
The menu board along the wall left of the ordering counter is super cute and adds to their overall quaint aesthetic.

Like I said, I have yet to make it for lunch, but you can bet when I do I’ll be getting that Italian Grinder as a salad – sans the black olives – as it sounds delicious! In fact, it all sounds good! They have delicious flavored iced teas, which would pair perfectly with anything above!
Here’s the menu I’m well acquainted with. I don’t like avocado, so I’ll never know how those first two items are, but if you’re a fan, I’m sure they’re delicious! I can certainly vouch that everything else is! My wife wanted me to draw attention to the Sugar Free syrups as they’re the only kind she can have and she loves that they have a variety to choose from.
I’ve enjoyed everything on this menu (as you’ll soon see) minus the Maple Magic, which I don’t know is the one for me, but again, I’m sure if you love maple, you’ll love it! The Apple Crisp has been my go to these past several weeks! I just can’t get enough!
They have this cute little cooler with bottled and canned beverages to enjoy as well.
The muffins and pastries on display always look great and usually persuade me to get one as they’re my preferred breakfast food.
I love how much natural light flows through this place! There’s four tables like the two you see above, so plenty of room to accommodate you and your small party.
This was the Iced Sweater Weather and a Blueberry Muffin. The Blueberry Muffin is peak and what I get 75% of the time, but that Sweater Weather was just outstanding! No wonder they nominated it as their entry to the Great Rivers & Routes Javapalooza! They call it a cinnamon roll in a cup and they’re not lying! It’s decadent and delicious and I can confirm I’ve had again since!
Anymore this drink has become the reason for the season! An Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte! The adorable pumpkin cookie really took this to the next level! I loved it and would definitely be adding this to my seasonal rotation!
Another Iced Sweater Weather and a Bacon and Egg Croissant, hold the cheese. I know this’ll sound crazy to most, but I’m not a cheese person. Unless it’s on nachos or pizza, I’m just not a big fan. I was, however, a fan of this buttery and flaky croissant! It was so good, I could’ve ate like four more of them! The sandwich as a whole was incredible! The egg was great and that bacon was so crispy and delicious! I’ll definitely be ordering again!
An Iced Apple Crisp with a Sausage and Egg Bagel. I’m telling you all, this Iced Apple Crisp is my jam! I hope to have about a dozen more before their fall flavors become winter ones! I’m usually pretty indifferent to breakfast bagel sandwiches as I prefer biscuits or croissants, but this was really good! I loved the sausage and the egg was consistently delicious, but the bagel was a pleasant change of pace. I’d actually get this again.
Something else to note about me, I’m a big fan of birds. I just love them. My favorite place in all of the St. Louis Zoo is the Bird Garden just outside the Bird House. I could sit there under their covered porch and listen to the birds and flowing stream all day. So seeing the restrooms at Meme’s Coffee Shop decked out in peacock design and decor has always been a big win for me. 10/10. Don’t skip on the restrooms.
The fact that the restrooms are interchangeable is even more beloved by me! Same peacock aesthetic, just shown a little differently. Either restroom you use you’re winning.
Yes! They have a drive-thru! They’re always super speedy when it comes to preparing your drinks and food, so if you’re not interested in coming inside, then enjoy Meme’s Coffee Shop from the comfort of your vehicle!

I’ve been enjoying them for over a year now and look forward to continuing to enjoy them for many years to come! I have yet to have a single drink or food that I didn’t absolutely love!
